Often the exact position of pipes and cables is unknown due
to innacurate or non existant network plans. In order to carry out precise
water Pipe and Cable Locators and to avoid damage to utilities and operators
during excavations, it is essential to know the precise position of all
services.

The UtiliTrac is the first pipe locator
that folds in on itself to save space.
It is carried and stored in the signal generator case and requires minimum
storage space. |

Utility line / pipe tracing: |

As you approach the energised line, the receiver will show
an arrow icon indicating from which direction the signal is coming. |

As you move closer to your intended target you will see a
pictorial representation of the object under test appear on one, or the
other, side of the display screen... |

Pinpointing. |
 |
To pinpoint the target pipe or cable simply centre the line
image into the crosshairs and the depth to the service will also automatically
appear in the upper right hand corner. The field strength will appear in
the upper left hand corner; a strong indication increases your confidence
in the target's location. |
