How do I survey our natural gas/methane gas distribution network for methane
gas leaks what do you offer? |

Please look at the HS
600 range which has various configurations possible depending on the
application. It can measure from ppm levels up to Vol% so you can use it
to survey for leaks and to pinpoint them. It uses gas specific Infrared
sensors for methane and Carbon dioxide, electrochemical sensors for Oxygen,
hydrogen sulphide and carbon monoxide. An optional ethane sensor is available. |

I am carrying out a survey on a natural gas/methane gas distribution network
for methane gas leaks. I am on a tight budget and would prefer something
less expensive than a gas detector with methane specific Infrared sensors.

400 range of gas detectors uses semiconductor sensors for ppm measuring
to identify methane gas leaks and thermal conductivity sensors to measure
methane gas in the vol% range. It also has the option of incorporating a
carbon monoxide, and or oxygen sensor. An optional ethane sensor is available. |
